Mother Road Market (MRM) is kicking off the holiday season this weekend with a hot chocolate bar at The WEL Bar, available all month along, collecting toys for Lindsey House and gearing up for a month of fun in the heart of the Tulsa Market District.

Oklahoma’s first and only nonprofit food hall, Mother Road Market (MRM), is inviting the Tulsa community to come celebrate as they ring in five years of doing good, eating well and shopping local.

On November 2, 2018, Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation (LTFF) opened the doors to Mother Road Market (MRM), Oklahoma’s first and only nonprofit food hall focused on providing a space to do good, eat well and shop local. Since then, LTFF has operated MRM as a community space energizing Route 66’s Tulsa Market District to become an inclusive district of local businesses.

Kitchen 66 hosted a graduation event at Mother Road Market to meet the graduates of the 2023 Launch Program, featuring the 10 new food entrepreneurs!

Mother Road Market (MRM) has teamed up with local Tulsa brewery, Cabin Boys Brewery, to pay homage to the Route 66 neon flare with a brand new style of beer known as the neon IPA. On Saturday, September 16th, 2023, on the Mother Road Market patio, fans of Cabin Boys and MRM will be able to taste the Mother Road Neon IPA for the first time, for free, and enjoy live music.

It is a true honor to be able to showcase ten strong and resilient female entrepreneurs on the Mother Road Market campus. Each day, these women are inspiring the next generation of girls to follow their dreams, stay true to themselves and stand up for what they believe.

In 2022, LTFF celebrated this milestone by continuing our work through Mother Road Market, Kitchen 66, and Shops at Mother Road Market while supporting the development of Tulsa Market District.

We are so excited to be welcoming 21 eager food entrepreneurs to the Kitchen 66 and Cocina 66 Fall Launch Program where they will gain practical experience, sales training and access to commercial kitchen space to develop culinary skills in a commercial environment.

We are thrilled to welcome our new Chief Communications Officer, Katy Hall, to the LTFF team! One month in and we are already benefitting from her experience and leadership.

In 2021, Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation worked with community leader Elian Hurtado, UMA Tulsa, and our own program, Kitchen 66, to collaborate on a new project called Cocina 66. This pilot program was a translated Spanish version of the Kitchen 66 Launch Program, which has been helping food entrepreneurs in Tulsa launch their concepts since 2016.

Our Kitchen 66 team is excited to welcome another new face in 2022, Karissa Smith! This native Tulsan is ready to promote Tulsa FOOD with her wealth of knowledge in the culinary industry.
